Not decide, I conceded that.   But certainly I can  make my case for it.

The members' list is public and  the forum participants' list is public.

That members can be spammed if their names are known is a poor 
argument.  If someone wants to get a spam message to all subscribers, he 
can subscribe and post to the list.

In that case can you please post the list of names without email addresses 
on a two-weekly basis?

Also, I have put the subscribe address on the homepage of the website, but 
I would also want to put the link to the archives on the link page.
