[atlarge-discuss] Who is Bob Crawford?

Bob Crawford is a candidate who has nominated himself with a little help from
Jeff Williams. So, who is Bob Crawford? We know his phone number
(866-866-6686) and that he resides in Akron with an e-mail address of
a@att.net, but little else.

We have no candidate statement, nor any messages from Bob... but a search
through google reveals that Bob was listed as a candidate for the North
American region in the last at-large elections and received 4 votes. Bob
described himself as "a beta tester with many software companies".

Bob had listed his "qualifications" as: "I seek only to keep the Internet
free of censorship in any form."
Bob had listed his "background" as: "I seek only to keep the Internet free
of censorship in any form."
{Does this remind you of anyone we know?}

Bob is listed as a member of the IDNO, but unfortunately I can't find any
messages that he has ever posted to that list (other than a vote which had to
be examined by the watchdogs due to a typo).
{Does this remind you of anyone we know?}

A Bob Crawford was a signatory to the Civil Society Mission Statement, as a
representative of the Association of Internet Professionals. Was it our Bob
Crawford, or another?

Bob doesn't appear to be a member of the GA or of any of the constituencies,
or for that matter to have posted to any list anywhere under that name, or
under his alleged full name Robert John Crawford, Jr.

Like Jeff, Bob hasn't revealed to us a website either...

This Bob seems to have a talent for signing his name onto lists, and for
running for office, but never actually saying anything. Perhaps as a public
service Jeff Williams can tell us a little bit more about Bob and why he is
uniquely qualified to run for the panel...
