Then Bruce that 1000 member roll needs to be pruned. Say by
setting a new rule that if you dont vote in a matter one way
or another you are automatically removed from the list -
that means that everyone votes - everytime. No lurkers. Even
if they vote ABSTAIN it still verifies the constituentcy,

This is no reflection on Joop's poll, but less than 10% of
our membership is
not a ringing endorsement of anything.  We need to have a
real election, in
which a significant number of our 1000+ members actually
respond.

Polls are educational, but cannot take the place of an
actual election when
setting policy for this group, unless a clear majority of
our members
participate.
