My point was not that some members *never* have Web access but
that some of them may not have easy or unlimited access, and
might need to make special arrangements or travel some distance
if the voting mechanism were like the Polling Booth and required
that one stay online for a long time.

My main objection would disappear if the election mechanism were
such that a member could download the ballot page, disconnect
to fill it out, and reconnect to send it, especially if
the voter had the option of e-mailing back the ballot if
for some reason the "Submit" command didn't work.

I do. I'm just not persuaded that a majority of the 10% who
participated in your poll represents a majority of the
membership of ICANNATLARGE.ORG, or that the polls you chose
to run (with or without the advice of a few members) are in
any way binding on the group which did not get a chance to
amend or ratify the questions.

It's conceivable that those who voted in your poll are the
only people still interested in this group but we won't
know for sure until we see what kind of response we get
from an official election process.
