Let us get over the obvious - these are positions that should be held by 
politicians, not neophyte social climbers.
As long as we keep electing engineers to play politcal rolls we will not 
succeed.
It is actually sad but, hillarious to watch.
Name five technical engineers in FR, AU, and the US that have been elected 
to the representative bodies of their countries within the past five years.
(leave Ben Franklyn out of the mix because you would be wrong}
I do not know how these people get their votes but it is silly.
