Description of the meeting  

The most important matter for this Working Party is the community 
patent, which means that after one patent application, a patent can 
be obtained which applies in all Member States. A further question is 
whether it is possible to apply for a patent for computer software. 
Coordination of matters concerning biotechnology also lies within the 
scope of this Working Party.
