CENTRAL Conference on Transnational Business

Transnational Business in the Age of Globalistion

CENTRAL Conference 26 October 2001

The Center for Transnational Law at Muenster University School of Law, Germany (CENTRAL) is organizing a conference on the interdisciplinary aspects of the globalization of international business law on October 26, 2001, here in Muenster.

For the first time experts from the political, sociological, economic and legal field will discuss the problems of transnational rule-making in a globalized economy jointly.

Please turn to our homepage (http://www.uni-muenster.de/Jura.iwr/central/deutsch/pages/research/confer2001.html) for further information.

Among the eminent speakers are Mathias Albert, Professor of Politics at the Faculty of Sociology at Bielefeld University, Reza Banakar from the Centre for Socio-Legal Studies at Wolfson College, University of Oxford, Hans-Jörg Schmidt-Ternz, Professor of Economics at Saarland University and Lord Michael Mustill from Essex Court Chambers in London.

At the conference, CENTRAL will present the first online database on transnational commercial law. The database is the first of its kind making transnational law accessible through the internet. It will be an extremely useful working tool for arbitration and contract practitioners.

Looking very much forward to seeing you here in Muenster on October 26.

Best wishes.

Sincerely yours,
Professor Klaus Peter Berger
