Compuserve Geschwaetz und Panikmache. AOL/Netscape ist eine Gefahr fuer die 
traditionellen One-way-Services wie CI$, nicht fuer das Internet.

Die Vision "Jeder ein Publisher" war schon vor dem Merger Unsinn, es gilt
bestenfalls "Jeder hat irgendwas, ueber das er auch reden kann", und das
kann er/sie jetzt einfacher ueber ein elektronisches Medium. Heisst nicht,
dass auch Redezwang besteht. Die mit One-Way-Medien aufgewachsene breite
Bevoelkerungsmehrheit ist fuer eine Umstellung zu alt. IRC, Usenet oder ICQ
sind im wesentlichen Medien der juengeren Generation. Da wird sich erst in den
naechsten Jahrzehnten einiges veraendern. Bis dahin spricht aber keiner mehr
von proprietaeren Providern wie CI$.

Ist aber auch wirklich zum Kotzen, dass gerade die boese Konkurrenz da
cleverere Geschaeftspolitik betreibt als das altbackene CI$.
