General Information:
The European Commission, DG XV, has published a
call for expressions of interest for the provision
of studies and consultancy services within the
fields of Information Society, media and
commercial communication.
Organisations will be selected from a list of
responses drawn up and offered the chance to bid
for specific contracts for which they have
relevant expertise. The fields covered by this
call for expressions of interest are:
- Information Society - legal, economic,
sociological and anthropological aspects of the
Information Society, including electronic commerce
and electronic signatures; - Media (including
areas such as radio, television, press, cable
distribution and pricing) - legal, economic and
sociological and anthropological aspects of media;
- Commercial communications (advertising,
sponsorship, direct marketing, sales promotion,
public relations services) - legal and economic,
sociological and anthropological aspects of
commercial communications.
The list of candidates will remain valid until 10
May 2000.
