Of course the election was a success! Did I say anything different?
The results are more than "acceptable", they are "good", I would say.
And anyway, even if they were "not good", that's life: you cannot always be
happy with the results of elections.

Indeed, but not the risk that you seem to imply: not the risk of having the
"wrong" people, nor the risk of "capture", but the risk of having the
current Board (which is composed by 9 SO Directors, 4 "long term interim"
Directors, the CEO, and only 5 AtLarge) voting down the continuation of the
AtLarge experience if we don't find an acceptable way. And to the majority
of the voting Directors, 9 directly elected AtLarge is not acceptable.
