...arrrrgh! Talk about a group that never heard of the expressions
"fish or cut bait," "play the cards you're dealt," and "Go ahead and do
it. It's easier to ask forgiveness than it is to get permission" (Rear
Admiral Grace Murray Hopper). I swear, if left to our own devices, the
gestation period of whatever we're discussing would be infinite.
That said, here's my suggestion - simply put, why add/use/lose two weeks
when one will do!:
Not Thu Jul 18 Approval of the new schedule
instead Tue Jul 16
Not Fri Jul 19 Official announce and charter sent to voters
- Official announce on the website
instead Wed Jul 17
Not Mon Jul 29 [Mon Jul 15] Deadline for nominations / voter registration
instead Mon Jul 22
Not Tue Jul 30 [Tue Jul 16] Deadline for nomination acceptances -
Candidate pages set up on the website
instead Tue Jul 23
Not Thu Aug 2 (I believe you meant the 1st) Final ballot text and voter
list supplied to Elisabeth

Not Fri Aug 3 (2nd!) Ballots sent
