Gary,
We don't each other very well, so please hear me out ..I'm standing on a
number of principles, one of which is this:-
If an individual voluntarily gifts specific resources for specific purposes,
but the ExCom squanders them, then the donor could reasonably withdraw, and
everybody loses out. I stand by the principal that the resources donated to
Atlarge.com ought to be administered for their intended purpose, which would
be of no benefit to Atlarge.com members. let alone non-members if withdrawn
for reasons of con-compliance with the gift.
Now, I would encourage you to set up, at your own expense, an alternative
all-inclusive mailing list for both members and non-members, but in the
meantime, the mailing list seeks to consensus of the current membership on
various issues and if the Excom has no means to communicate with members
without interference from non-members, it is failing in one of its core
goals.
Regards,
Joanna
