I agree.  Personal attacks should be taken off line.

More to the point, since this is a *user* support organization, every person
represents only themselves.  That being so, it doesn't matter what
affiliations, associations or occupations our members have, since here they
only speak for themselves unless they are elected to do otherwise.  So as
Joanna points out, we would all probably all do well to focus our energies
on the challenging task at hand, and less on disputing "facts" about other
members that have no pertinence in this organization, whether true or not!
