 4. Not assigned to a particular country. Often used in combination:
ambassador-at-large.
 5. At length; copiously.

 nonadhesive: unconfined, ranging, free, free-range, at large, liberated
 escaped: free, at large, back on the streets, scot free, acquitted
 free: on the loose, at large, escaped
