Judith et al.,

I don't think I left much out, but I'm not a perfect
scribe and some things escaped my pen (but not my memory
upon further reflection). My reports were drafted from my
handwritten notes of the conferences, so I don't claim
that they are perfect. In plain English, I may have
simply missed a few details here and there. Although, for
some reason, I did think I included that bit about
Esther's statement on the scrapping of the MoU in my last
teleconference notes (alas, upon subsequent analysis I now
realize that I did not). But, in any case, I don't think
it really come as a surprise to any of us? My question
about the final report containing/referring to the ALSC
study was reffered to in my last teleconference report.
Also, last night (just after I had sent you
all my report), I sent some comments to the ALOC's Denise
Michel as a response to her email request for comments on
her draft report to-date. I stated the following quite
explicitly:

"I believe explicit mention of the BoD commissioned
AtLarge Study Committee is warranted and only proper.
Also, I believe it should also be mentioned that the ALAC
concept was NOT one of the Study's recommendations."

Now, the part about "dissenting views being glossed over"
_was_ included in my handwritten notes but unfortunately
not in my report, and I apologize for the omission as it
was an oversight (plain and simple). I'm certainly not a
fan of Esther Dyson.

Sincerely,

Sotiris Sotiropoulos
