Bruce and all stakeholders or other interested parties and members,

  Ah, I see.  Still, as in my former existence in the USMC as a
F-4 Driver in my early days, I often was in the "Hot Seat" though
we in the USMC and USN aviation didn't use that term.  I was
personally willing, able and eager as the next in line, to take to the
sky and do my duty.  So I am still Burce, wondering by the tone
of your previous remarks and this explanation as well,
that you are reluctant.  I hope I am mistaken.

  You were elected.  You stood for election on your own verition.
You should have known then, that you may be than called upon to
take a leadership position on the Panel, should such and event
that has occurred, indeed occur.  As it now has, reluctance
to take that leadership position now, is of concern to all the members.
