I should have said www.thepeoplesnet.org NOT .com

Dear Richard,

It doesn't make a difference, really. When it come to *telling* people about a website, I find that people remember a .com address more easily than an .org extension.

Why not read .com as "community"?

Anyway, the site is not developed yet

But the urgent need of the At Large is to create an alliance of
organisations and websites like Danny Younger's new regional initiative, and
the huge diverse multiplicity of user voices which, if brought together,
constitute a powerful force.
Yes. The important thing is the addition of the new websites. The name and address are secondary.
The strategy is to mobilize the uncapturable fringes, not to fall in the trap of a centrally controlled single point of failure.

This is the lesson I learnt from starting the IDNO and seeing someone with help from 3 or 4 other email entities, wrest control over it and kill it. (first the mailing list, then the archives and lastly the website)
Looking forward to see the site developed.
I will link all new At Large sites under "links" on the icannatlarge.com site.
