Re: [atlarge-discuss] URGENT Re: [atlarge-discuss] Election Preparation

Dear Danny,
as much as I support your pertinent outbursts and well documented protests, as much must I tell you when you make a mistake. Vittorio Bertola has killed the Panel and this was my fault because I nominated him as a Chair. Vittorio refused to refill the Panel as a Chair after he was forced to welcome Edmundo Valenti (who never shared and resigned if I am right).

I/We called on Kimberley, Garbiel, Sotiris, Ted on a personal basis. As soon as it was clear that Vittorio betrayed us deliberately I called for all the next in line. When he resignation of Vittorio was made formal (as a resignation of all his Chairmanships). We called with Bruce again to all the next in line. Only Eric responded "here!" when I published the list and called for Panelist Elect to join.

The Panel today is active until its replacement by the new Panel. It is important to manage the election since @large organizations through the IDNO, the GA, the ALAC etc. only know to vote on the way it will vote. Any of the one you quote in direct order up to 8 now one are Panelist Members elect. They, and only they decide not to be Active Panelists.

But I do agree with you that the real issues about the DNS and the future of the world (like the resignation of Howard Schmidt) are more important things;

Exactly to what rules do you refer? Perhaps the rule that allowed Eric to
serve on the Panel, while ignoring Edmundo Valenti, Kimberley Heitman,
Gabriel Pineiro, Milan Kapetanov, Sotiris Sotiropoulos, and Ted Byfield (all
of whom had a higher vote count)? Perhaps the rule that kept David Schutt,
Todd Glassey, James Khan, Cordley Coit, and Bob Crawford off the Panel while
you managed to get onto the Panel?
