Your suggestion is certainly welcome. I would suggest this:

1. you are certainly the best among us to read and anlyze a document and to 
prepare an attack against its cons while fairly balancing a middle support 
of its pros. Why not you to quickly draft such a text we could help you 
finish with comments. (Frankly, since you read that BS, have a good command 
of it, and our full trust, why would we all of us waste our time on it?).

2. there are sites where one can collect signatures. We could then propose 
our Members to support that letter in co-signing it?

The time is short, but I think we can make it.
