In internet speak of 5 or 6 years ago this was considered true or so.
Not so today. Things change over time and in internet time things
change very quickly/rapidly.

So yes I do!

Well some folks choose by themselves to live in wonderment. In
some ways I envy them. But in the real world of IT, I am obliged
to live in the real world of ever, and rapidly changing technology. In
fact I both embrace such changes in many instances and participate in
the creation of such changes on a nearly daily basis.

In the mailing list? I didn't know that "The Mailing list" was a
tangible entity of any sort? If this is a new form or expression for
a Mailing list archive, than find and dandy. If however this expression
is one of a new mailing list technology, than I would be interested in
learning allot more about it. Do you perhaps have a reference?

No need. There is huge surplus of bandwidth. Many network
providers need to show some growth in the use of bandwidth so as
to aid them in remaining a viable business entity. In any event keeping
the history in a thread so as to show the history for easier reference
and
better understanding of the flow of the thread keeping the thread in
tact and in stream, is very important to aiding in eliminating
communications confusion in that/those threads.
