[atlarge-discuss] POLLING COMMTTEE: Cadidates' URLs

1. Several candidates not having provided yet an URL, the world@large foundation has provided a default page to all these candidates. So the democatic debave may develop in a normal way.

As soon as these candidates provide theur URL it will be updated. I expect icannatlarge/org/com to use the http://execlub.org/atlarge.htm and the following information to update their pages. I thank them for that.

2. The candidacy of Bob Crawford

This has NOT objected by Joop Teernstra.
- I seconded every nominations of the Forum to be neutral to Joop's effort, so did Claude Thielet.
- this name being a "published" author name ( http://www.onelist.com/archive/LiteStream ) everyone can check as operating for several years, he has been asked to confirm he was candidate only once, what he did.

The mail exchange is on http://execlub.org/atlarge.htm. I am not pleased with the existing solutions to address this situation, but I accept this is common practice and legal in most of the countries. Nothing in the rules of this vote prevents it. I asked the PC if they opposed the response of Bob Crawford and received NO objection. I asked the Watchdogs and received NO comments.

I take on myself to declare this candidacy as "pending" and I call on a formal vote from the PC. The reason why is that I am not convinced that Mr. Crawford is not already a candidate under another impersonification. I will be convinced once every candidate I do not know has provided his URL and/or sustained a serious professional debate.

4. I have had disk problems. This lead to the loss of the mail of Judyth where she gave us the Membership file and the access to the site. I have asked Bruce who is on the road. I would thank Judyth, Eric or Jan to send it back to me so I might update the http://icannatlarge.org site (we split task with Bruce and I did not think that file would become a reference). Thank you for that.

I will also make a page with the Candidates URLs.
