for your information:

1. the site has been updated to reflect the current situation
    - the voting page now includes the solgan and urls of the candidates
    - the election page has been updated - hopefully in a way that even 
Joop will accept.

2. I am expecting the edited list of questions from reviewers
    I hoped I could close shop in one hour ... so I leave no to preserve 
the peace of my family.
    I will come back later on. I hope I will receive the missing slogan by 
that time.

Let me repeat the way the vote will happen.

1. I will send all the VID with emails to the Polling Committee Members.
    They have the current ID but there is 2 letters in additions 
(necessary after JW leaked his VID)
2. I will send all the VID without emails to the Watchdogs
3. I will zip that file under password and put on the site where every can 
copy it.
4. I will send the ballot to the members. This being a private mail of 
around 12K will take several hours and may break. I will do it again before 
the end of the week for the Members who did not vote.
5. when the votes are returned they will be anonymized by Mailman and sent 
in copy to every Polling Committee Members and Watchdog.
6. many ballot will however be returned as faulty. Because the address does 
not exist anymore or because the ballot is larger than 10K. In the first 
case I will remove the Member from the list and will publish it. In second 
case I will run a second sending by mid-week with two mails.
7. at the end of the vote I will reread all the voting lines in one single 
file and will copy that file on the site. I will also add in he voting line 
the number of the received ballot;
8. I will release the VID zipped file password.
9. I will filter the file (any can do that too)
The Watchdogs will be in a position to say if voting lines are missing. 
Everyone will be in a position to discard the fake voting lines. What will 
count will be the first completed ballot (ie with one single vote). The 
first received ballot will be an empty ballot in the case the ballot is 
returned. This way everyone will know if a ballot has been returned or 
duplicated.
10. The raw result to each question will be obtained in extracting the 
questions.
11. they will then have to be inspected for "blurs" in the vote. Only "Y" 
will be considered as a vote.
12. this will make the results. I suspect that there will be a lot of 
Florida like disputes which will keep some animation on the list.
