Perhaps it's time to remind the candidates why we are here.

In July 1999, ICANN's Chairman of the Board Esther Dyson told the House 
Commerce Committee's Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigation that ICANN's 
"highest priority" was "to complete the work necessary to implement a workable 
At-Large membership structure and to conduct elections for the nine At-Large 
Directors that must be chosen by the membership".

Now, here we are a few short years later with "zero" At-Large Directors, and 
no workable At-Large membership structure within ICANN.  

Sotiris is 100% correct when he questions the lack of participation by those 
that would seek to be elected by this organization.  Icannatlarge needs 
fighters, not wimps.  

We are fighting a well-entrenched group of formidable liars and scum that 
have persevered in denying the public their right to representation on the Board 
of the body that governs the management and administration of the Internet's 
domain name system -- one doesn't fight such a force by electing those that 
have never raised their voices against this injustice.

If you aren't committed to a hard and long vicious campaign to restore the 
At-Large directors to the Board, then you don't deserve to be in the leadership 
of this organization.
