[atlarge-discuss] Ballot questions

Given that two of the three members on the Polling Committee arguably speak
fluent English (or American at least), it's quite obvious that this was
drafted by the one non-native English speaker amongst them, then sent
without prior approval by the Polling Committee as a whole. Why?

Also, am I the only one having trouble understanding some of these
questions?
And the blatant bias in the question below is a cause for concern.

"Should we:
>      [Answer all that apply]
> =>A2 Y/N [ ] look for more than a shell structure
> =>A3 Y/N [ ] consider the tax exemption aspects
> =>A4 Y/N [ ] chose USA for tax exemption
> =>A5 Y/N [ ] chose France no tax no paperwork
> =>A6 Y/N [ ] run a comparative questionnaire

The reasons to choose the USA or not to choose the USA, or equally France,
or any other country, cannot be summarized in 3 words, and it's simply not
appropriate to present it as a simple choice between paperwork and no
paperwork. These are very complex issues. What has been posed here is the
equivalent of "Choose USA for no personal liability" v. "Choose France and
get sued in European Courts".

At the very least, it would have been sensible for Jefsey to publish the
ballot in French, then a professional translator could have assisted with
the English translation, and both sent out together. As it is, you have bias
in the ballot to argue about for the next 12 months.

Bon Chance!
