[atlarge-discuss] Re: [ga] Who speaks for the ALAC?

Danny and all former DNSO GA members or other interested parties,

I cannot really draw any conclusion from your post here as it relates
to the subject line, Danny. I am sure that there is a point that you
are attempting to make, however.

In any event, the better or more appropriate question as a subject
line might be "Who as stakeholders/users does the ALAC believe
they speak for?" From their web pages, it would seem that they
purport to speak for all stakeholders/users and the ONLY
"Atlarge" user representation ICANN excepts or respects.
Yet the ALAC has no individual stakeholder/user members
nor allows for such. Seems to be a very disjointed concept
and assertion as others have expressed in various
ways recently. But that's ICANN for ya! http://alac.icann.org/
