That my friend looks a lot like manipulation to me.  I am beginning to think
that you must be watched very carefully indeed.  How can you be so
presumptive at such an early stage in the panel formation? Why must you be
so determined to have things your way that you must fight everyone else in
sight?  Other people have ideas too.  Listen to them once in a while, you
may even find the occasional suggestion that is acceptable to you.

Sotiris: If you don't think the Panel has any purpose other than to chair
independent committees, you probably ran for office in the wrong election.
