This is a general reply to this thread:

I sympathize with Martha, and others Sotiris has been challenging the
authenticity of: Jefsey and I were under Sotriris' "firehose of abuse"
during the election!  None the less, authentication has been his passion,
and he is emminently qualified to chair the effort.  And we certianly need
it!

As for the PayPal method, or other methods proposed earlier, I'm not opposed
to *any* verifiable method that adequately proves that a person is who they
say they are.  And I think if we use several methods simultaneously, we can
easily and quickly validate the membership.

BTW, I just sent Sotriris $1.00 via PayPal to verify me as real!

My only concern with this: at what point does PayPal object to Sotiris
refusing payment on hundereds of $1.00 transactions and get suspicious?!  :)
