RE: [atlarge-discuss] Provional Membership Committee

Walter,

I can imagine in the trafic of the past week you missed a few emails
left and right but let me try to at least answer some of the
observations below where I can, where I can't the question remains the
same.

You refer to Danny's email which was answered here:

http://www.fitug.de/atlarge-discuss/0306/msg00869.html

After which Danny did not return to the topic.

Again a question by Danny (unless you want to insert postings like "this
is a fraud" as serious in which case the questions will always remain
unanswered) about the headers this time, answered here:

http://www.fitug.de/atlarge-discuss/0306/msg00913.html

Again I have not seen a reposte by Danny or disagreement witht the
explanation by anyone.

1. sometimes people don't do such a thing and you know that just as
well, it does not mean that it was not answered satisfactory.
2. I would have like to see a statement from Thomas Roessler on the
topic, but as anyone could do I have checked all myself and was
satisfactory that the outcome I had equalled the outcome posted.
Acceptance of the vote tally was thus easy for me, the last posting of
Jefsey shows a different order since candidates did not react to an
email that asked them to confim and agree, one candidate does not accept
the outcome (with no factual arguments to support that) but does
want/claims a seat on the panel, opinions are yet divided if such is
possible.

By decision of the membership and previous panel(s) the
www.icannatlarge.org site is the official one, even though other would
prefer another one. The site is not current since the current
panelmembers have no access to the website as yet.

See above

See posts concerning verification in the past 2 days.
See panelllist for a closer look at what is being done and who
participates.

Committee proposals should not only come from the panel, members feeling
that they want to form a committee to approach a certain task can simply
propose to do so, the panel is trying to setup rules for chairmanship of
those committee and participation of panel members on committees.

Most of those lists could still be open or not, they were Jefsey's
initiative while being on the panel, very little use was made of them,
if there is an interest in sort-like lists I will gladly provide them
under the icannatlarge.org domain providing the panel approves of that.

> - The current status of the already existing "private" mailing lists.

The old panellists is still online, the archives are on two sites. As
far as I know that was the only "private" maillist as far as posting
rights go.

No new email lists have been formed as yet, but they are discused in the
panel and I would encourage people reading that discussion, and make
their opinion known on the general list.
The general list remains open to all.

The current ftp-site is ftp.icannatlarge.org which only contains the
files used in the election, as zip and individually, username atlarge,
passwd atlarge.

Irc.icannatlarge.org is on a stand-alone dedicated server for
icannatlarge.org and hosts also the panel maillist, a copy of the old
panellist archive and the above mentioned ftp. You can connect by
pointing your client to irc.icannatlarge.org and channels currently
registered are #atlarge #panel #vercomm pls feel free to start your own
channel, simply ask me and you have it.

Hope this answers some of your questions
