This is just to thank you for the effort that you made to bring about the
election of a new Panel.
I am aware that the mandate was less than watertight and that there were
many hecklers and naysayers along the way. However, I am pleased that you
had the courage to complete the task in the face of all opposition. I
believe that you have done a very real service for this group and that the
result is a Panel that now has the opportunity to legitimize itself through
its actions. We now have a foundation upon which to build. You provided
that foundation.
I am sure that there are many others amongst the membership who will join me
in a vote of appreciation.
