"DEL" means "Delete" to me... :)

I'm sick of everybody and everything on the Internet feeling they 
have to dumb things down to what can be "easily recognizable to new 
users"... how about if the Internet industry took some responsibility 
to try to educate new users, rather than pandering to their 
ignorance?
