Regarding the Verification & Certification committee;

Martha G. was one of the first three original members to participate and
has been an active participant in research since the beginning.  The
fact that her name was inadvertently left off a version of the
"Committee List" at one point was previously discussed and corrected.  I
see no reason to start that topic all over again. There is no size
limitation implicit in the V&C Committee membership and as the
organization as a whole grows, I would foresee a corresponding growth in
ALL committees...  

There is no need for anyone to "give up a place" on a committee that has
no set bounds, and if it were so - I would defer my position to Martha
and concentrate on other tasks.

As to the Chair, Joe Borda has been nominated within the group.  There
have been no other nominations formally and no other has stepped forward
to begin coordination of our efforts since the all day session during
the waning days of the past election.  Based on past performances, J.B.
would IMHO make a better chairperson.  As with the "Web Team", there
should be a separate venue for V&C discussions reserved for total
candor.  There is a need for a team coordinator not an autocrat.
