Most hilarious Andy and Wilfried Schueller debating who's got
more Stimmvieh (*), which should qualify both of them for honorary
citizenship in [de.admin.]news.groups.
Slightly revealing, but nonetheless funny, the temporary breakdown
of Jeanette's humour detector - apparently she's not active on German
usenet, where Lutz' dry style is often copied these days.
In general, most seem to take the competition serious, and, to a
degree, personally.

(*) Sorry, but I refuse to take The Fish's suggestion to translate that
as 'beeing correct cattle'. There's certainly an idiomatic
expression
for it. 'Voting cattle' would be verbally.
