Hi, all,
I canīt believe that! If lawyers would check all sites of ICANN, they would
have given some advices to the ICANN-staff for example regarding the rules
of election. For me as a candidate and a lawyer it is a scandal that not all
AT-Large-members, who have the right to decide who will come on the ballot
have the possibility to do this, simply because they canīt activate their
membership.
In my eyes herewith the rights of membership are touched, and the worst is
that the ICANN-staff makes the impression that for them all this is not of
great importance.
I refer on my earlier propositions that we need clearer rules for the rights
and the duties of ICANN. I know that at this time there are
At-Large-elections in all parts of the world.
But if ICANN writes the mail with the PIN is sent at the 7. of Aug., it
canīt be that it isnīt arrived till 5. of sept., if ICANN has not chosen a
trawler for transport.
So I refer on Christophīs opinion that a lawyer who would care about the
problems of ICANN canīt
get great pleasure in doing this.
Best regards
Christian Schultz

And they were told that by _whom_ ??
And they do this exactly like _how_ many other non-profits ?
Maybe they should ask the EFF how to run a non profit site.
Gosh! I should have gone to a law school....
If that wasn't so sad it would be funny.
