You have a very valid point about this, and this may be why I don't
expect something along these lines to happen any time soon.

However, similar arguments apply to sites like icann-europe.org,
which may look and sound just as official.  Maybe it's really better
to keep at large member activities on a lower level, and on
individuals' or organizations' web servers.
