*sigh* Yes, both you and Prof. Hoeren are right.

"Batista" is around since ... nah, longer.  Folks simply know that and
ignore him. Posts like that are classical Trolls; just please kindly 
avoid feeding the Trolls.

A good hint should be the long lists of mailing lists this mail was
sent to. Sending to so many different forums near certainly produces
such results; everybody knows his "local" trolls and kooks, but most
people are not aware of those from other communities.

So, Joop should take part of the blame -  crossposting a thread like
that is a bad idea usually.
