I certainly support a temporary "begging". As long as it is temporary.

PS. As half a joke I proposed Jeannette to be appointed as an ".eu"
lobbyist by Brussels. An ICANN Director position is certainly unique
to study ICANN and Internet for Europe and to propose a contingency
plan concerning an eu-root in case privatisation goes too far.
