It reminds me one of the first news I read in 1978, when
joining  the "leading edge" of this business. It was aboud PA
group having purchased an old gaz tower in high seas to have
a spot in the world out of legal govermental reach to locate its
computers, if needed.

Obviously the issue then was "Transborder Data Flow"  : "do I
have the right to send my data ... aboad?" :-) :-) ... That was a
*big* issue by then.


II also wander about your remark about the ".va" DN registration.

May be could we call on "church protection" as in the
past civilized centuries when Police could not arrest people
in churches. If you lose an UDRP, you might have your DN
registered under ".va" ....(hmm) except may-be when you
run an adult site ...
(but there is are ".inferno" ".sex" and ".gay" TLDs in the alt.root).
