To all.
I tried to understand the ICANN document on ICANN cost recovery structure.
I strictly understood nothing. Is this because the ICANN finacial officer is
also the policy officer? I do not know. Is this because it keeps refering
to (the
errors of) the past? I do not know.
Simple questions:
- what are the services provided by the ICANN?
- what are the costs of such service?
- how many DNs are registered which use that services?
- what is the cost per DNs?
- which services should be provided by the ICANN?
- what are the costs of such services?
- how many DNs would be registered which would use that services?
- what is their cost per DNs?
ICANN like question:
- if I am a developping country non profit organization
offering worldwide DNs on a commercial basis abroad
and on a free basis to local what is going to be my
quartely fixed contrubtion and is my proportional part
be greater if 40% of the yearly fee is on a fixed basis
and what if I use a registrar in some countries...
- I gave up.
