[icann-eu] eu domain and the ISO 36610

I read some time ago that the process of the eu domain was in good shape
and we can expect to have this new ccTLD approved quiet soon. The remaining
stuff is about limitations on the registration.
But The thing that comes to my mind is how the eu domain deal with the ISO
36610 matter.
The extension of the ccTLD are approved as they are listed by this ISO
organization. most famous and up to date fact is the .ps.
Can anyone explain me how this matter will be. how to deal with this
requirement since .eu is not listed in ISO 36610?

Is there any chance that a future activation of .eu will start and let new
ultra-national organizations (EU) to ask for new ccTLDs?

thanks in advance.
