Anyway, there's no instruction yet on how to endorse (or am I missing it),
so there's no alternative ;>)
I assume that it is impossible to change the endorsement at a later time.
This is the reason why the "nomination" and "endorsement" phases are
separate: otherwise candidatures presented late would have had less chances.
The point of endorsing more people was raised to the Board in Yokohama (by
me as well, BTW), but rejected.
Last but not least, the figures are no longer accurate, there are now 70
European candidates in the list. Which makes your proposal (below) even more
actual.

I invite any other candidate to let me know (s)he is supportive of my
basic positions. I have tried to read up on the long list, but I have not
found anyone yet. I haven't had a chance (and neither will the voters, I
think) to read all the webpages candidates have put up to supplement the
ICANN page we all have.
I will be happy to step down if someone else will bear the banner of the
free users of a free internet. In my view this cannot be a person who is
working for an ISP, a Telco, for IP protection rights, to name the most
obvious.
Thanks!
