In principle, you are right.
In practice, how can we think of organizing another round of elections for
the Advisory Board, without even having the list of members?
Indeed, there is the need for a small group to get the ball rolling.
It can either be the top (nn) candidates, or something else, but we have to
start an "interim" structure from somewhere.
And the top candidates seems to me to provide better "representativity" than
picking at random.
