I agree, but this is just a statement of principle.
Otherwise, why do we seek at all geographical distribution, for instance? If
a Board member represents just himself (herself), why cannot we have an
all-US Board? It will solve (well, reduce) language barreers, and will
therefore be more efficient.
In fact, why have AtLarge Directors at all? Or, the reverse, why have SOs
Directors? Let's pick them all from the AtLarge!

You are welcome to answer it.
Or answer for instance:
- what knowledge do you have about the problems and issues of the average
Internet User, about the needs and expectations of the people and
organizations that live with the Internet but are not represented so far
(small and/or family businesses, individuals, civil society, ...)?
I know you have the "good" answers, but I am not sure that all 5 NomComm-ed
candidates do have them (unless they are spending their summer in learning).
Anyway, simply put, I think that some of the people that are intervening in
this debate seeking member-nomination do indeed represent better the
"concept" of AtLarge than some of the NomComm-ed.
Regards
Roberto
