I too (cf. my own response).

I suggest we keep this list which works well. I shaped the
French name as icann-fra@egroups.com to respect your
semantic and took only the ISO 3 letters to show that it
was part of Europe. I suggest we keep doing the same:
icann-ger, icann-ita, etc.. so in lists it shows we are together
and well organized. This may impress people about our
determination and professionalism, it would also help the
press and users from one country to know the address of
the other countries lists.

I- Ask the ICANN staff to announce that list either in one of their

We could also standardize sites with the same names and
coding (http://icann-europe.org http://icann-fra.org (I have it),
http://icann-gbr.org, etc...The more we look organized the
best it is both for getting help and acknowledgment from
ICANN, press, industry but also for our own morale :-) !!!

I am working on inews-france. I named ip-france and inews-france
with the full name to show they were independant. The idea is
that anyone may use it to get the people on the list informed.
Comments welcome.
