Also on the Asian ICANN member-nomination: Christian
Ahlert mentioned in his Spiegel Online article on
the elections
(http://www.spiegel.de/netzwelt/politik/nf/0,1518,91039,00.html)
a statement by Feng Ling Chiu that the Chinese
ccTLD registry, CNNIC, promised presents for ICANN
At Large registrations: According to her, a desktop
PC is the grand prize, many others got phone cards!
Unbelievable.
Anyone around who can read Chinese?

I'm waiting for a statement from Andrew McLaughlin on
these accusations. Of course, if you have the names of
people joining At Large through such a contest, you can
contact them directly. :-(
