Information for WIPO Unmoderated Discussion list - September 14, 2000

The first WIPO Internet Domain Name Process operated a general
unmoderated discussion list, using the name dnsproc-en@wipo2.wipo.int,
to facilitate discussion on the issues addressed in that Process.  When
the first Domain Name Process came to end, with the publication of the
Final Report on April 30, 1999
(http://wipo2.wipo.int/process1/report/finalreport.html), the activity
on the list naturally diminshed.

The Second Domain Name Process was launched on July 10, 2000, and the
unmoderated discussion list was re-activated. The list name was updated
to reflect the new process (it is now known as
process2@listbox.wipo.int), but all remaining subscribers to the first
discussion list were maintained.

We encourage all interested parties to participate in the unmoderated
discussion list.  Any formal comments on the Second Domain Name Process
can be directed to process2-comments@listbox.wipo.int, from where they
are posted on to the Process web site (http://wipo2.wipo.int/process2)

This discussion list allows any person to subscribe or unsubscribe.
