Unfortunately, some of these so-called interim At Large Directors do contend
against the concept of the At Large Membership. And this is what I find
scandalous. As interim directors, they have no legitimacy whatsoever to use
their power as board members against those whose election has been
delayed.

While I agree that direct elections are important, I don't see why we have to
settle for 5 ALM directors for at least another 2 years. There is no direct
relationship as such between the election mode and the composition of the
board, unless one is willing to accept that interim board members misuse their
power to change the bylaws.

The important point is that those interim Directors

Right. The chances to reach this goal would be greatly increased if interim
board members like Kraaijenbrink would resign and be replaced by interims
who can be expected to at least accept the basic principles of representation
as laid down in the White Paper, the MoU, the original bylaws, etc.
