Those of you who understand German and can get hold of a copy of
Wednesday's issue of the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung may wish to
have a look at page 71 of that issue.
Under the heading "Sie irren, Herr Müller-Maguhn" (You're wrong, Mr.
Müller-Maguhn), the Markenverband e.V. (that is the German trademark
lobby, founded in 1903) responds to the Regierungserklärung, and
heavily criticizes it.
