The new Board at its organizational meeting on Thursday after the
annual meeting will elect its officers for the next year. You are
correct that both the current Chair and Vice Chair are departing. In
these situations, it is common for the Board to informally ask one of
its members who does not wish to be an officer to preside over the
meeting until the election of Officers is complete.
