British teenage girls now outnumber their male peers on the Internet, according to the latest survey from Fletcher Research.

In a study released on Thursday, Fletcher found 60 percent of all Web users in the U.K. were male. In the older age group -- 55 and over -- 81 percent were male. But in the under-18 group, 61 percent were female.
