Information, economic intelligence and the Internet will be the three main themes, discussed during the IDT99 conference in Paris on 8-10 June 1999.

The conference will discuss issues such as information on the Internet, data identification and verification, knowledge management, legal issues and information market and concentration of operators. Workshops and specialised Internet forums will also appear on the conference programme.

The exhibition concerns electronic business information and the organisers are expecting over 170 exhibitors. A "start-up" area will be specifically intended for young companies.

The event is supported by the Ministry of Education, Research and Technology in Paris.
